Friday I got a bunch of fabrics in the mail from Tonya’s FB group here
I just couldn’t wait to cut into it! here is the pile all washed and ready!
Sunday after church, our church had a picnic and baptism at Jordan Lake, my son got baptized!
(How cool is it to say he got baptized in the Jordan- like Jesus! -just a different Jordan)
Here’s our pastor on the left and my husband on the right getting ready to dunk him down.
A very happy and emotional day- of course I cried 🙂
Before the baptism we had a picnic, Sonja just hung out and slept.
Of course I DID get to cut into the fabrics this weekend!
here’s the quilt I’m making- and making a pattern for it too.
I was able to finish all the foundation piecing this weekend
ready to cut out!
this is what they look like when trimmed
and here’s what the star block will look like.
Again here it’s all pastels and wash together, but we’ll see.
(I really need to be patient and order a solid to go with fabrics like these and incorporate them, when will I learn?)
Here’s the little cutie pie.
again in her swing.
I know I show a lot of pictures of her in the swing, she’s really not in there all day as it may seem, it’s just when I have my hands free and am able to take a picture or two.

What a special baptism!Your little gal is so cute–never tire of seeing her sweet face.I admire your foundation piecing. I always try to avoid that, but I know you will get beautiful, precision results!
That is some list, Bea! Wow, you sure manage to get lots done with a baby in tow. The quilt is going to be gorgeous. Love the fabrics and will be fun to see it come together. So happy for your son and your family on his baptism. Cool!! xoxo
