wonky quilt is done and more fabric balls

I finished quilting the Wonky House block!

It may be a little hard to see the quilting, I did dense meandering around the house parts

if there was “grass” or something else big underneath the house I quilted bubbles/pebbles.

Now look at the wonky BACKING!!

here’s a close up of the backing- now I don’t want to do a backing that’s THIS scrappy, I had a lot of tension issues, but I think I managed to figure it all out.

also, I guess my backing was not straight, see the teal at the bottom, on one side you don’t see it, on the other side it show maybe 1/4″- just bad placement I guess too 🙁

Now it IS a wonky quilt!! so…

I made another fabric ball the other day too, using 18 squares and 8 triangles (all 1″)

the collection is growing!

And THESE came in the mail from connecting threads! “mirage garden sampler

I can’t wait to cut into this 🙂

and another little ball I finished yesterday, my son picked out the fabrics.

this one uses 12 pentagons and 20 triangles (1 1/2″)
