Women of the Bible BOW Leah and customer quilt

I finished the Women of the bible BOW- Leah

It’s called lover’s knot.

I am running “low” on the pile of hello sunshine, well not really LOW, but I set a “rule” that I wanted to go thru the pile ONCE before going back to reuse more fabrics, so I think I have maybe 4 fabrics left.

Here the leaf fabric is actually bluish purple, so I thought of Leah/ lilac and I really don’t “love” purple, and Leah wasn’t loved, so I thought that was fitting 🙂 then I did a matching green dot for the petals, I machine button hole stitched around- all in one shot without breaking the thread, I just started and one of the intersections and went around the outside all the way around, then ended at my starting point and did the inside.

Here is a customer’s quilt I finished

She used the same fabrics I used for Sonja’s quilt 🙂

I quilted loopy flowers and leaves all over it

Tuesday I got a HUGE box of fabrics from Tonya

I’ve ironed the crazy daisy fabrics, and two more “bundles” still have lots more to iron.

Monday was a day off for the kids- veteran’s day, most of the day they played with marbles, Sonja watched 🙂
