Who wants to join a round robin?

I’ve hosted a few Round Robins before and they are a lot of fun! so I want to do it again Smile

Now the question is; should it be “planned” or just “anything goes”?

Here’s the last RR I got back and finished, this one was “planned”

DSCF6086

and another one that was “planned”

DSCF4386

Now what is “planned”?

First you start of with a certain sized center and mail to the next person like any other round robin and then add a specific sized border around the next top/block you receive and keep going. With the “plan” everyone has a finished top the same size at the end.

OR

we can do a center and send it on and maybe have a certain “total amount of inches” (Michelle has hosted a RR like this before)

Where maybe we have to add 16” to it, so that can either be 4” border all the way around OR 8” to two opposite sides.

OR

we can have NO rules and add whatever we want…..

OR

a ROW BY ROW Round Robin? would that be a Row Robin?

anyways, if you are interested, comment below and let me know what/if you prefer and we’ll do the most popular choice!

(and I’m thinking 6 months or so- so that would end in the Spring of 2017)

And I would say US only to save postage for everyone!

  1. I'm not up for any swaps of any sort right now, but I'd love to Oooh and ahhh along. LOVE both of your round robins. The pencils in the one round are awesome! The words make that quilt!

  2. will enjoy seeing the progress of this but in UK so will just be watching

  3. Sound really fun. Never been too any round robbin before but would to be part of it sometimes 🙂

  4. .. will have to watch from the side lines as I am in the UK x waiting to see what comes from it xx

Hmmm. Might be interested. Like the row by row idea. Haven't done a Round Robin in years! Keep me informed. Cheers, Tricia
