I recently got an email from someone asking if I’d do another QAL soon- she missed the MONDAY posts…..
I’m always working on NEW quilts and I had just started thinking about another one and figured I could turn it into a QAL, this one I don’t have as a pattern yet so it’ll be a bit different, it’s pretty easy AND I’ll keep it a mystery.
The quilt will be 59″ x 59″ and I made mine with the 8″ QUBE and I’ll provide rotary cutting for this size only BUT you can use other QUBE sizes if you want to make it smaller or bigger, the blocks are super easy!
Here’s the fabric Requirements:
Main Fabric A- 1 1/4yd (Mine is a blue print)
Fabric B- 1yd (a good contrast to the main fabric)
Fabric C – 1yd (matches the other fabrics, mine is a solid light blue and it will be used for sashing)
Fabric D – 1 1/4yd (Background fabric! – mine is solid white)
Fabric E- 1/2yd (dark matching the main fabric- mine is dark blue)
(Then you need backing and binding fabric which is not included above)
I’ll start next Monday and do weekly posts, I might not have a linky because that didn’t seem to work well last time, you can email me pictures or tag me on IG.
Eventually when I’m done with the quilt, I’ll turn it into a pattern for sale- this is actually a birthday gift for Anja, she picked the fabrics- you’ll see next Monday!!)
You can look at the post next Monday and see my fabrics and then decide what fabrics you want to use.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
