Guess what!
You can become an ambassador too, they are now accepting applications for 2019!
Read here and fill out the form
I’ve been an ambassador for them since 2014! (the first year they did it)
And each year I think about if they “really” want me again or not or if I’m tired of batiks? But then I think about all the fun I have, all the fun batiks we get to play with! And so far they have not said goodbye to old ambassadors- not that I know of, unless you didn’t do anything maybe? but haven’t heard… If anyone is NOT an ambassador now but used to, it’s because they chose to!
Katie and Elizabeth are great to work with and the fellow ambassadors are such an inspiration! Some are published in magazines, some have published books, some are avid bloggers, it’s just fun!!
I was looking at my Island Batik page above and I counted 115 projects I’ve made with Island Batik fabrics!!
You’re supposed to make ONE project a month and blog about it (each month has a specific theme)
So really I should have made at least 60 projects, but some doubled up as Accuquilt projects too and some were in magazines and some were just because
Take a look and DO apply!
Today is my husband’s birthday BTW!! Happy birthday Babe! LOVE YOU!
Oh I would love this, but very allergic to a lot of the batiks (dyes). I am sure all you gals will dazzle us again in 1919.
OOPS – wrong year – 2019! That's scarey – another year.
Can't wait for another year Bea, love being an Island Batik ambassador and like you I started in 2014. Happy birthday to your husband!
All of your IB projects were beautiful, Bea! Those "just because" quilts are always fun for me! Happy birthday to your hubby!
Thanks for the suggestion Bea! I signed up and told them you sent me.
