I finished this customer quilt this week
Very modern triangles, bubbles on the outside of every other one then on the the inside of every other one and curves in between.
and a funky triangle border design.
A view of the back
Here’s another customer quilt, a cute baby quilt
It’s for a baby shower for a girl but the mom didn’t want the traditional pink/purple colors, so this top is nice and I quilted flowers and leaves in a pale yellow, then it helps look a bit more girly
Over the week, I made another paper pieced hand sewn fabric ball.
Black and white and very light grey.
Then I’ve been getting organized, because if CERTAIN young lady has been getting into my bins of long arm thread cones!
and sometimes tangling things up!
so I ordered another thread rack and can’t believe it’s filled up already!
Love looking at it though!
My oldest daughter played with the pin cushion last night.

Beautiful quilting on the quilts Bea! Buying a hanging rack for your threads is probably a good idea…..I remember seeing all the thread tangled last week!
Lovely quilting – I don't have little hands, but two furries would play if I leave any drawers open to my thread.
What is it with kids and pin cushions? LOL. My sewing classes always color coordinate the pins in the wedges of the tomatoes, make flowers or write their initials.LOL. You can always tell when I've taught a kids class by the pin cushions:)
Nice job on those quilts! I am so looking forward to seeing this giraffe quilt!!!
What kind of thread do you use?
There is just something about yellow and gray…both quilts are wonderful!
Great quilts and the new thread rack is wonderful to look at. I love what your daughter did with the pin cushion.
love the quilts you sewed. Especially the grey/yellow one. Your little one is such an inquisitive one. She will be following your footsteps. Love the pincushion.
