The second scrappy pattern highlight this week is

Sweetheart

This is another Accuquilt friendly pattern and what’s fun about this one is that it uses string blocks, then it’s easy to trim those blocks with the Accuquilt dies, the sample shown can be made with the 6″ or 12″ QUBE set and I also provide a chart for the other QUBE sets and of course rotary cutting instructions.

String blocks are fun because you can use the tiny strips you have saved from old projects and they are not really big enough to cut blocks out of so they are perfect for string blocks and here it’s just a simple triangle star block and the string blocks put together to make a cute baby quilt (or bigger size if you want)

And here’s a sample from one of my testers, she didn’t use the string blocks in the middle of the block but instead used a fun dotted print!
