Time in a bottle blog hop Hour glass blocks

It’s time for the Time in a Bottle blog hop

Thanks to Carol for hosting, it’s always fun to participate in hers and Carla’s and Joan’s blog hops! I sign up almost every month- if I remember 🙂

the challenge for this hop is to use hourglass blocks and I tried to look at my own patterns and I have an “oldie” that’s called “feeling better”

I decided to try a small version of it and I used this floral for another project and had a bit leftover.

I used the snowball Accuquilt die and die #4 from the 12″ QUBE set

The blocks went together rather quickly, just 4 QSTs and 5 snowball blocks.

and then I added a border!

Here it is all quilted, it measures 26″ x 26″

Here’s a close up of the quilt, that medium pink has writing on it, and it’s all right side up!

even the back has the right side up writing and I used all the scraps for the backing 🙂

Here’s the rest of the Blog hop participants! Have a look 🙂
