Then I made a stormy table runner

After I made the Tinkerbell quilt, I wanted to use some scraps from Island Batik and the morning star die again and make a small morning star quilt and it ended up being this table runner!

I cut up the pieces and with the peachy/salmon color I had to be creative a bit, wait and see.

I did half the blocks with white corners then the other half I did half of each with the peachy/lobster fabric

and then completed the blocks like this, notice the peachy/lobster colors are the same on the sides but different on the top and bottom.

I had enough for 3 blocks and made it into a table runner

I used a funky e2e design from urban elementz again to quilt it and added a blue batik for the binding

and a different teal/blue for the backing

  1. I would love to be on your email list! As a novice I like the step by step instruction! Thank you

  2. Bea, that is really pretty! I love the colors and the creativeness of using what you have enough of, the placements came out perfect:)
