It’s not really the first finished project of the year, I finished it right after Christmas but it’s the first blog post with a finished quilt, so that sort of counts 😉
Before Christmas I felt like starting a small project out of scraps, I was looking at my pile of yardage 0-1/2yd and thought I could make a runner or something like that, I got out my “Midnight Stars” pattern and cut out pieces for 4 blocks- I know I normally like odd number of blocks, but here I tried 4 blocks and I think it’s still cute! I used the 6″ QUBE set.
The quilting design is called hieroglyphs and I quilted it in grey thread really densely/small design!
The runner measures 14″ x 32″
