I usually don’t care about or read/ listen to the news, only a little or I skim over it.
This morning I saw THIS article on Yahoo.
That Tangerine Orange is the NEW color for 2012….
so I figured, why not play in EQ with some exsisting layouts I have and just color them TANGERINE!
so here’s a few
A pattern called star struck, it’s a tiny little table topper, I’ve made several of these in different colors etc, I’m pretty sure the points of the stars were 1″ square onto a 1 x 2″ background fabric and sewn down the middle diagonally.
Carefree romance from a magazine- can’t remember it right now
A Storm at sea block and snowball block- an EQ challenge I submitted about WEATHER – I sent the file in blues of course

Hunter’s star, looks almost like plain red and white here.
So what do you think about tangerine?? I LOVE wearing RED (and Blue) but don’t like orange, so… hmmm
I would wear blue every day if I could. But as for quilting…I love bright and bold! Tangerine sounds too fun!
Interesting color. A little in a quilt is fine.
I don't care much for orange either but the color showing up in these pics is GREAT!
Orange is my favorite, but I usually go a little toned down. I ADORE that snowball pattern. Haven't seen it done like that and it is very cool!
