This sunbonnet Sue quilt is finally done!

It was part of the rainbow color of the month from 2016 and then I used Accuquilt’s die and embroidery files to make the blocks and for the border I used the 3×6 flying geese die that comes with the GO big!

I just outlined the girls and then did a swirly line on the sashing and curves from corner to corner on the geese!

in 2016 So scrappy also had a secondary color with the color of the month, so I used that as the background color in solids.

The batting I used was Thermore by Hobbs (It was in my Island Batik box last time and I had a good piece leftover from another quilt- I think I got 3 quilts out of one piece that was maybe queen sized)

You can see by the label that it sat on my shelf for quite a while before I finally got around to quilting it!

I tried to make a mini Sue and embroider it, but it didn’t do the satin stitch very well, no big deal for a label though Smile
