I’m part of a yahoo group for machine embroidery and someone posted this CUTE mouse last week and when I got the link to where she purchased it, I just HAD to have it.
It’s all in the hoop!
This is a 5 x 7 hoop.
It’s from doll and daydreams and it comes in 5 sizes.
The only machine sewing is the tail before it’s inserted and the ear fold, then after it’s all done and you turn it right side out, you hand sew it closed.
It gave directions on how to add a name to the belly half way thru it.
Here’s the back.
(I think I added the ears a little crooked, but it’s cute like that!
Also the pattern called for minky fabric but I wanted to try cotton or in this case batiks from island batiks.
I think Sonja likes it
This week I also got these fabrics from Singapore, they are SILK!!
(or at least I think it’s silk)
Here’s mrs bobbins getting into trouble again.

Sew Cute! xxxxx
Bea that is just too cute and I'm so glad you included a pic of Sonja holding it because I was thinking it was a pin cushion size. Your Mrs. Buttons cartoon……..that could be me!!
That is very cute! What embroidery machine do you have?
The mouse is sweet….your project list…well…can I just say I'm tired just looking at it…giggles!Smiles,Kelly
So cute and so cute with Sonja.
That is a cutie alright, I'm a bit boggled by how you can create that whole thing on a machine without fiddling around sewing on bits and bobs, (like arms and faces) though, then just turn out the seams and Ta-Da a mouse appears. And, as a quick aside, Ummm do you EVER sleep Bea? I got tired just reading your list of finished or W.i.P's, and you blog and look after your family, you must have a Secret Super Power.
Absolutely adorable. Wish I had that type of machine, so I could make one!
OH my gosh Bea! Those are just adorable. I've been doing machine embroidery since 2003 and have never heard of that digitizer. You could sneak a little squeaker into those as you are making them, or bells (putting them into a small container similar to a medicine bottle and taping it closed makes the bells safer from swallowing if you gave this to a little one who loves chewing in case a hole is created. Plus inside a container they make a little more noise when hitting the sides as it is shaken). My best friend from grade school and all the way through high school and beyond is waiting to meet her very first grandchild soon. That smallest one would be a great little gift with a few other items.
