Stay warm and blog hop

Finally the kids are back in school in NC here, last week they closed school early at 1pm on Monday because of snow coming that afternoon (didn’t get here until evening though) and then the rest of the week school was out, either because of snow or the freezing cold/black ice.

These are pics from Monday last week.

Then Wednesday night a short snow storm came too and the kids bundled up and ran outside in it!

  1. This winter has been something else. Here in the Tulsa area, the children are out of school tomorrow for only the second day this year due to weather. It's supposed to clear off and be COLD on Thursday. The inspector loves the snow for sure. What cute children – and family! Tomorrow should be a good sewing day.

What family fun. I can't believe Sonja is such a snow bunny, that she didn't want to come back in side. She must be super warm blooded.Off to blog hop. Thanks for the schedule.QuiltShopGalwww.quiltshopgal.com

  3. We haven't had as bad a winter, lately, as ya'll have had here in central OK, but school has been off & on. What a nice family! My youngest granddaughter is like Sonja about being outside no matter what the weather is like.
