I know I’m slacking a bit on blog posts, but I’ve been busy with a secret project that needed to be done before Monday, AND Wednesday was Sonja’s birthday, so it took half a day to make her cake Smile

I made the recipe from scratch, just because I didn’t have a cake box mix.

I found THIS recipe and it was YUMMY!

(didn’t do the sour milk part and reduced the sugar plus I only had semi sweet chocolate)

While decorating the cake the barbie’s right arm fell off, so I busted out the hot glue gun and fixed it, and even now AFTER the cake has been eaten and the barbie being cleaned up, I was able to turn her arm, we’ll see if it lasts…. (May need to buy a new pick anyways and maybe a blonde version)

    Ah the birthday girl – I remember doing Barbie cakes when my daughter was little (and for her friends). Hmmm – fabric – low calorie yummy!
