This weekend I got something NEW (to me)
A new sewing machine!!
Janome Horizon Memory craft 7700 QCP
My husband told me about this maybe 2 wks ago that he found a deal on craigslist, it took a while to arrange a meet up time but we finally did it Friday afternoon and I’m SUPER SUPER thrilled about it.
It’s HEAVY and huge compared to my old Janome!
(So count it a Valentine’s present or another birthday gift- I don’t know)
Here it is in all it’s glory 
and I’ll “retire” this one and move it over and when my friend Laura comes over she can use this one and not the old Costco machine I had (yeah maybe one of the kids can use that one if they want to sew!? or for a class… hmm)
It’s actually Anja’s 3 month birthday today!!
(she has a cold btw poor baby)
Oh, and the other day there was a lovely rainbow, it was double at the ends.
it was a full rainbow!
Well I’m off to sew some more!
I’ve used my GO cutter and QUBE set and batiks from Island Batik and I’m working on a secret project (for now)

machine looks wonderful and such a big throat will make quilting a pleasure I envy you.Three months have flown by before you know where you are Anja will be crawling. Loving the new sea salt batik from island batiks only trouble is cannot find a supplier here in the UK shame as I would definately buy some
My Mother had 3 differennt Memory Crafts! She loved them! I learner to sew on one (just a bit older than this one!)
