My oldest daughter Solveig is 20 today, she’s artsy fartsy and a great big sister, a good student- a senior at Meredith College.
She’s majoring in Psychology and Minoring in Studio arts at Meredith, and next semester it’s going to be all art classes!
She’s really done some soul searching and found that she doesn’t like psychology anymore and that’s ok, she’s only 20 now and will be 20 when she graduates in the spring, she has time to figure out what she wants to do, I think it’s hard for young people to figure that out, I think most college students go thru that at some point. We’ll see where the Lord wants her to go 🙂
Happiest Birthday to you, Solveig! The LORD, who so lovingly made you to be a very creative person, He will continue to direct you towards your niche as you explore the arts.
Did she have to do a research paper? My daughter wants to be a counselor for kids but in order to graduate she has to do a research paper and she doesn’t want to do research as a job.
Happy Birthday to Solveig. And so exciting that she will be graduating in the Spring. She may not like Psychology, but it is still a versatile degree which will open the doors for many different careers for her. She may even one day want to go back and get a masters in a topic she finds interesting. So many choices for such a talented young lady. I think she’d also be great as a set/costume designer for a theater.
