Solveig turned 15 yesterday!
I gave here this bag I made for her on Sunday, as she collects pins and her old bag (just like this one) broke, so she’s been anxious about a new bag and picked out the fabrics.
The pattern is from this Quilted Purses and totes book which you can get here from Connecting threads, it’s the cover purse and the pattern is by Connie Kauffman (a fellow IB ambassador)
Here’s Solveig’s bag close up
It has a divider in the middle that opens up and a small pocked on one side, also the outside has 3 pockets on each side (on each side of the straps and in the middle)
I’m so proud of Solveig, she is turning into a lovely young woman, she’s smart and beautiful and kind! Just overall a great girl!
