I realized I never showed these RSC16 blocks that I finished.
Here’s 3 crumb snowball blocks and matching nine patches
all using accuquilt dies of course!
I sewed them into rows and arranged on my wall, flipping every other one
Here they are all sewn together
and here I added a plain white outer border
Someone snuck into the picture so I had to get down and take a few close ups
She’s finally getting her first tooth btw!
a little update on Bjorn.
Wednesday he got the “bar” removed from his gums/teeth and they took an X ray, it’s now 6 teeth that are not right, but today we’ll go to our regular dentist and see what he says, the oral surgeon at UNC that took the bar off, said that the dentist or endodontist will need to check the roots/nerves in his teeth on a regular basis and see if they’ll die or not, sometimes that can take months! also he needs to get the front teeth to move down, and they can either do it on their own or need help either surgically or by an orthodontist! the dentist also needs to bond the teeth together as they are still kind of loose, so I don’t know, it’s all so confusing, part of it seems like it’s urgent and needs to be done before it heals too much, but other parts we have to wait and see! We’re also going back to the ENT on Friday.
Those snowball blocks make me think of hot air balloons. Lovely!
I love this quilt top! It's a great use of scraps!
Poor Bjorn I do feel for him, is he able to eat okay I wonder, hopefully the dentist can put your minds at rest when you see him.The quilt looks great snowball and nine patch work so well together
Thanks for the update on Bjorn. I have thought of him often since you first posted about the incident. I am sure he has a long way to go, but it sounds like he is progressing well.I always enjoy seeing pics of your children and your quilting progress.
Love the quilt and the colors, also such a cute baby! Feel like giving him a big hug!
Love your snowball 9-patch. Perfect plan for scraps. Have to put this on my list too.
Two fun blocks to make. I like your rainbow quilt. Your little one is adorable.
Super cute quilt (to add some cheer to the drama with Bjorn!) So glad to hear that he is doing well.
Flipping the blocks gives the quilt lots of movement. A gorgeous rainbow arrangement. Congratulations on a beautiful quilt.
What a delightful quilt this will be! And what a cute helper. ;- )
Beautifully scrappy quilt, along with a very cute little helper!
Good to hear that things are getting better, even if they sound confusing indeed! Your rainbow quilt looks great!! Thanks for sharing!!
