Do you ever get in the mood to just make a bunch of small things?
I did last week, so I made a few stuffed owls
Also with a few FQs I cut out the pieces for a Star of Bethlehem block with the 6″ QUBE set so now this mini is 12″ x 12″
(They’ll have it on display somewhere at Capital Sew and Quilt)
Another few FQs and scraps ended up as this star block quilt that measures 18″ x 18″
I believe someone sent me this bird fabric from England and I held on to it for a while and didn’t have a plan until now, I also densely quilted it with the paisley playtime design in pale yellow thread
For the back and binding I used a darker yellow fabric
I also had more hummingbird fabrics leftover and made a hunter star runner, I believe the quilt is 16″ x 34″
I believe the quilting file is called Hot Cocoa
It’s fun to make little things like this and feel the sense of completion quickly!
