The sister swap 2014 thru Quilts from my Crayon box is done.
This is the package I sent to my “sister”
It HAD to include something hand made.
So first I made the bee pin cushion
Then I looked on my shelves for other things and found this bunny table runner, as my “sister” has grand kids and I thought they’d like bunnies (though it’s too early for Easter- but hey….)
I also had one more of the owl scissor holders and a pair of scissors I bought not too long ago.
I also added a strip of batiks from island batiks and a charm pack from timeless treasures.
And then a few patterns and a BIG book of “borders”
I’ll just say the box was STUFFED!
She loved it BTW
Here’s what I got in the mail the other day from my “sister” actually it was Michele’s real sister!
First this LOVELY shoulder bag!
LOVE all the detailed work in it, the adjustable strap, all the pockets and zippered pocket and magnetic snap!
I also got a Kate Spain Christmas charm pack and a tea bag- used that one right away as I have a cold!
and then this sign for the car! totally going to USE that!! SEW funny!
It was –as always- a fun swap!
thanks for hosting Michele!
(will link up to her blog tomorrow)
Nice, nice…everything. I'm glad you enjoyed the swap and totally expect to see your name on a list again in the future.
Fun swap on both sides! Isn't it nice to know we can stalk???
I'm so glad that you liked everything! The tea is one that the the ship's staff on our vacation left for me each evening. I liked it so much that I wanted to share.
What a fun package. Luv the little bee pincushion. It's all great!
Beautiful bag…. I'm sure you'll get lots of use from it!
You sent fun stuff and it looks like you made out like a bandit! I loved this swap also.
The nice thing about Easter is, it comes every year, so she'll get loads of use from that table runner, I Love, Love, Love the little Owl scissor holder, and the Bee Pin Cushion, I might have a go at them myself, (when I get my hand back).
