Last week I finished this table topper/ runner
As I recently got the 9” QUBE set from Accuquilt, I just HAD to try it out on something and had scraps left over from a recent project for them.
It’s a simple block, an uneven nine patch with HSTs in the corners instead of squares.
So I cut out 3 of the focus fabric of shape #1
12 of another fabric of shape #8
and then 12 each of two more fabrics of shape #5
First I sewed the HSTs together
then added the rectangles
and then finished the block.
I really like this striped fabric on there!
At first I was going to just finish the runner like this
but then I decided to add a white border
and I quilted simple lines, about 1/4” from the seams.
and VOILA! an easy runner
That's such a nice little table topper. It's always so much fun to be able to try out new toys. Have a great day! –Andrea
