I finally finished this light brown/ burgundy version of Shoo Bee
It’s a great scrap busting pattern and uses TINY scraps!! those small blocks are 3″!!! a lot of fun to make and I like projects like this as “in-between” projects.
The quilt finished 38″ x 50″ and I used my 4″ and 8″ QUBE sets to cut out all the pieces then put in a bin and worked on a few blocks at a time since Dec 2022
I cut out light and dark brown then the constant was a burgundy solid plus the large Shoo Bee blocks are all the same light brown fabric too- I just happened to have a really big scrap of that!
It was fun matching up 4 x 2 light and dark tiny HSTs
of course light and dark are always relative and that’s what makes scrappy quilts fun!
The long arm design is called Pearl Swirl by Intelligent quilting
