Sewing small things

Last week, my daughter came home and said it was her teacher’s birthday and that I should make her an owl Smile The next day she told me it had to be purple!!

So here’s the purple HOOT! that may actually be #50 or maybe 52 gosh , I don’t know….

I have also been working on Celtic Solstice and made a label for it, binding is half way sewn on.

I also got a package from Connecting threads and I pretty much have plans for all these fabrics, maybe not ALL the yardage but chunks of them Smile

My Son also wanted a gym bag and I had made this pattern by “In color order” but he wanted it bigger so I made my own version and then he didn’t want the flat bottom, so super easy!

I embroidered a wrestling “thing” on the front. He liked the bag!

And I HAD to take a picture of a messy baby girl the other day eating yoghurt for breakfast by herself! NAH….. she’s NOT messy at ALL!!

  1. What a lovely owl again. I really love mine, and he is standing right in front of me when I sew.

  2. Love that messy girl! My first granddaughter was never messy-just her personality-the second one is wonderfully messy and i love it! Very cute owl.

  3. I love your purple Hoot Owl! Baby girl is so cute. We forget to take these priceless pictures of everyday life.

Awwww – Sonja is just so darn cute! I always think of our grandson when you show pictures of her. He is about the same age and doing a lot of the same things 🙂 Your purple Hoot owl is adorable – her teacher will be very pleased with it!

LOL love the picture of Sonja being messy. The youngest Grandson loves spaghetti, the other day he was orange by the time he was done. Those are the best pictures! Cute owl.

  7. Your little purple owl is almost as cute as Sonja eating her yogurt!! Looks like you have been busy!

  8. Sunshine of course just loves the purple owl. And that messy girl picture is definitely one for the high school yearbook.
