I recently finished this scrappy version of my pattern “Reflection” where I used dark blue, turquoise, dark green and yellow scraps AND the 6″ QUBE instead of the 8″ QUBE that the pattern calls for, BUT with most of my patterns (at least the recent ones) I provide a QUBE chart on the last page of the pattern so it’s easy to see how much yardage is needed for each size and the block construction and cutting amounts are the same with each QUBE set, so it’s VERY easy!!
My quilt finished 42″ x 54″
My yellow prints were very funky and dark blue and turquoise is also kind of relative, the only fabric that tied it all together was this dark green solid fabric 🙂
Here’s all the pieces I cut out and used as a leader and ender project for a while
For the backing I used a light blue/turquoise snowflake fabric from my Winter collection (where I only have the bunny fabric left- which is on sale BTW!!)
You may also notice that the binding is all scrappy yellow too! I love that kind of project where it’s almost “free” to make the quilt.
The Reflection pattern is on sale for $8 TODAY only!
You can also buy a spring kit in a boy or girl version that includes all the fabric to make the top and binding for each size
