Remember in December I showed my bin of leftover log cabin strips (cut with the Accuquilt Log Cabin die)
I realized or decided to make 12 blocks and to stick with light and dark but that’s kind of up to interpretation….. and no solid black
I got the 12 blocks made rather quickly
then sewed them into a top like this and put it all aside for a while
I then decided on a 1 1/2″ (1″) inner border and I think the outer border is 4″ finished and I had enough of the inner border fabric to make the binding too!
I used a bubble flower e2e design in QCT and quilted in black as the backing is solid black too
the quilt measures 35″ x 44″
What a lovely quilt. I’m always coming back to log cabin, think it’s my all time favorite block.
