scrappy black and white top done and RSC blue blocks done

Remember I’ve been working on this scrappy Black and white version of Bonnie’s Hunter’s quilt

I flipped the colors and the teal is black instead plus my white is any white print because I had so many of those scraps!

I chose to “just” do a 4×5 block layout plus the sashing which uses the 2″ triangle in a square die

 well TADA! here it is!!

It’s still pretty big!!

It measures  58″ x 72″ and that’s without borders, now Bonnie had the small stars continue into the border, I have to decide if I want to do that or just add a plain black border…. for now it’s in a bin as I’m tired of looking at it.

 

this is one of the blocks close up, just FUNKY!

While I was working on the monster above which was a leader and ender until it got too big and I turned it into my main project for the day, I also made some blue RSC blocks

the first two blocks are also from Bonnie’s book and the last one is a spider web block where I used the spider web die from Accuquilt but flipped the way the block goes together.

some fun blocks and I still have a pineapple block to finish, but that always takes longer.

I have other projects going on, so the pineapple block is my leader and ender block for now, though I kind of need a 2nd one kind of…..Not that I need another project! or do I????
