RSC18 and 19 Mosaic blocks

Remember the rainbow monthly blocks from last year RSC18?

Well, as January rolled around I grabbed whatever projects I didn’t finish and tried to get a plan!

These blocks were one where I had a plan or at least I got the plan after putting the blocks up on the design wall!

 Here’s the blocks in EQ8

 Then I decided to add sashing and add rectangles on the outer border

 Of course I had to make 2 more blocks to have 12!

Here’s a light brown and a dark brown mosaic block

Here’s all 12 blocks in rainbow “order”

then I added the sashing and black cornerstones

 and just a random rainbow border! Now the top measures 40″ x 50″ and it’s ready to quilt.

I moved my quilts back into my studio and the piles are really high!

 and after this new NY abortion bill passed, which just breaks my heart,
I decided to donate more quilts to the local pregnancy support center! I
brought them to church and then a lady there brings them over.
