RSC – Pine Tree Blocks and embroidered blocks

I finished making the two pink RSC16 log cabin blocks (one that’s all pink and one that’s half white)

Also I made two guild blocks for next years BOM

here’s one that I found on pinterest and I made it a rainbow –they named it a ferris wheel

and a patriotic star block (one I designed in EQ and made a pattern-that’s not out yet in other colors, here I provided the center and the red white and blue is up to the maker)

Then, I’ve been feeling motivated to catch up on old projects and this baby quilt by Lunch box quilts is just adorable and I wanted to do more blocks, I had only finished one ducky block a while ago, so I did the required 3.

and 3 lamb blocks (fabrics are from connecting threads btw)

and 3 foot prints (a tar heel in there!)

3 announcements

and 3 bottles

Then 6 rattles with little ribbons tied onto them

3 baby blocks

and 18 safety pins!

Now all the blocks are done, I just need to trim and cut the border pieces!

phew- it was a lot but FUN…

  1. So fun baby blocks, and sugar sweet log cabins. I'll go home to my sewing machine tomorrow night.

I love that ferris wheel block too and have been making it for a couple of month for the RSC. But the pattern was called Circle of Squares. So fun to sew!

  3. log cabins look good and loving all those blocks for the baby quilt, where you find the time to do all these makes with the children etc amazes me, do you ever sleep?

The little feet are SEW adorable!! I've got that Ferris Wheel block on my list of things to make and, wouldn't you know it, I was going to make mine in rainbow colors, too. I don't have a Color Wheel quilt in my sewing room and thought that would be perfect!!
