I went to Randolph County Quilt Guild- quilt show last weekend with a friend, so I wanted to show pics from the show, I’m splitting it up into 2 posts. As it’s VERY picture heavy
Stunning quilt that also won a ribbon or two
love the quilting- If I remember correctly it’s the same guy that keeps winning each time.
a One block wonder quilt with cubes, also got a ribbon
This was a quilt that was a class at a quilt store, so you’ll see several quilts with this pattern, but they are all so different still.
Like this one
But then it had this cool appliqued vine on the border around it and it’s all hand quilted!
Fun colorful quilt
with fun quilting
A lovely small quilt
Blooming nine patch, with a neat quilting design too
A simple geometric quilt, love the quilting on this one too
A fun sampler quilt
I really like the look of quilted jackets, the last show I went to I bought a pattern but I haven’t made a jacket this, this one looks like a sweater jacket pattern
Very soft tones on this quilt
Fun turtle quilt, the curves were a folded fabric technique, I guess like cathedral windows??, pretty neat!
THAT guy won another ribbon for mini quilt- uhh I want to do a whole cloth quilt too one day, and a small one would be fun!
This I believe is the one I VOTED for, it didn’t get any ribbons at all and I love it all, the quilting is great! some times I just don’t get the judges!!
Fun DP quilt, I think I have this template!?
fun leaf quilt- reminds me I NEED to quilt my fall leaf quilt- it’s just SO big!
-sorry I can’t tell you more about each quilt, I tossed the flyer by mistake and didn’t take pictures of the labels either.
thank you so much for sharing these wonderful pictures x
That first quilt is so graphic! And I love the quilting on the whole cloth mini–and then the one you really liked is quilted so well, too … and then–well, you get the idea.Very fun! Thanks for showing us–I look forward to more.
These are great….Love the green quilt near the beginning…And the appliques are amazing…I know you had to have enjoyed the show with all that eye candy.
Sounds like a fun time. I too loved the quilt you liked. Sad it didn't get any ribbons, but it certainly won "our" viewer's choice award. Thanks for sharing. Next best thing to being able to attend this show.SewCalGalwww.sewcalgal.blogspot.com
