The round robin that I hosted is finally done!
We’ve had some great quilts to work on.
There was 13 of us and we were supposed to use any Accuquilt dies!
So since it was an un-even number I add myself twice and split the group in 2 so each group had 7!
It’s been a lot of fun sending blocks on and receiving something else to add a round to!
Here’s my blocks, the first one was this cute elephant block and the block is called proverbs 31, then I also sent the rest of a FQ bundle with the quilt block.
Block #2 was this blue and white block, I think it was the block I designed for the Accuquilt block design competition. |
Here’s what I got back! WOW!
I was able to finish the elephant quilt! I added a light yellow inner border and outer yellow border
I quilted it very custom and uses lots of rulers!
For the backing I used any chunks of scraps of yellow or orange or green and added yellow bands in between, so it’s a fun backing 🙂
And here’s the blue top!
I just got it back last week and it’s big too, so I’m just going to finish it like this.
It measures 66″x66″
I just got 4 yds of blue print from Connecting threads for this backing, so it should be finished soon!
Such a fun “swap” everyone did amazing!
Here’s everyone’s tops now
some are still deciding on more border options.
It’s been a fun round robin, hope everyone was pleased!
Nice quilts for the Round Robin.
