a round robin peek and blue star blocks

Not really THAT much interesting stuff to show.

I told you I was working on the blue star quilt as a leader and ender, then once I got it all set up and ready and looked at the blocks, I realized I was actually close to getting the top done, so I kept working on it.

I’ll also show you what happens when you THINK you cut all the right pieces and put the rest of the fabrics to be used for whatever, and then realize too late that you DON’T have enough and now don’t have that fabric anymore….. later

then yesterday I got a package with June’s round robin block, it was SO cute, I wish I could show you more, but this is a teaser of what I did on the border.

And I also wanted to show the vegetable garden, this squash plant just TOOK over, phew! those leaves are like elephant ears!

we already got some squash, had some grilled last night with chicken for dinner 🙂

Now, starting tomorrow, my daughter has practice in gymnastics for a recital saturday, so tomorrow night and saturday will both be some long evenings, I should maybe do some english paper piecing?? I really SHOULD!! another ball or plain hexagons? hmmm
