The round robin “swap” is well underway.
I had delayed working on my center block, and after thinking about it for a while, I thought of when the swap ends (October) so I thought of either fall or Christmas, hubby said Christmas, then I thought of the nativity scene block I designed in EQ and did a tutorial about here.
It wasn’t too hard to make as a EPP block, just tricky that the block is 12” finished.
I was thinking of a nice sized Christmas quilt to give away at our church’s Christmas party.
Of course I don’t want it to just be black and white, but typical Christmas colors, so it should be fun to see the end result.
Here’s the quilt label for my block/quilt 🙂
and a preview of round #2 on Carol’s quilt
I’ll be sending these off to Carol in a few days.
(she acts as two people so she will get to view her quilts twice, but don’t mind)
When I see the things you accomplish with EQ7, I wish I had it and had a command of it. It's just prohibitive for me right now. I love seeing you make it sing.

Well, I can see you've been a busy Bea 🙂 Love the block, kinda wish I was in the swap now, but still it's a great block, I also like the label, I think I even recognize that embroidery design. 🙂
what a beautiful central block for your Christmas quilt
so cuteeeeeeeeeeeee x
I like your start and it will be fun to see how it ends up.
