I have a new quilt pattern called Rolling Boulders
(well it’s made from rolling stones blocks, but I bet I’d get into trouble if I called the pattern THAT!) lol
I made this quilt a while ago and it was published in Quilter’s World Winter 2018!
I have written the pattern in 3 sizes 35” x 44”, 40” x 43”, 62” x 80″
The blocks are 9″ but can be made with the 6″ QUBE set
The magazine quilt was made with batiks from Island Batik and made using different pink batiks then a light pink and solid white.
I recently made a small version of it using scraps of pinks and light green, then kept a pale pink as a constant in the quilt and also changed the center square to be the same as the border!
It measures 34″ x 43″ (So I think I had to make one of the borders a bit smaller than the pattern.
I long arm quilted a new design called “plume” by urban elementz
I used a light green for the back- it’s bright but not THAT bright as it looks in the picture
Here’s a close up of Plume on the back
I was also able to long arm quilt this for one of my “testers” a local friend/quilter 🙂
I quilted a butterfly design in light purple thread
we weren’t sure how it would look on the backing but it looks fine on the light brown backing!
Is on sale for a week ONLY for $5! so get it now while you can!
