It’s time for Block I for the rising Star QAL
This block is a full sized block so 8″ if you’re using the 8″ QUBE set and there’s 4 blocks total.
Here’s what you need for this block
A White: 8 of shape #3
B Light Grey: 24 of shape #5
C Dark Grey: 16 of shape #5 and 16 of shape #2
D Black: 24 of shape #5
Follow the pattern and sew together all the small HSTs together, My 4″ QUBE pieces were sort of directional so I tried to match up with where the blocks would be in the quilt, with the 8″ version I used all solids so that was easy!
Then sew the block sections together like this
and finally the 4 blocks, my small blocks are 2 + 2 mirror images because of the directional print, but the pieces are so tiny, it’s not a big deal if some are not right….
