I recently finished my RSC19 Rainbow quilt and decided on a skinny black sashing with grey cornerstones and then a wide blue print border
I quilted large feathers all over just for fine, the same medium blue I used for the backing, I also used for the binding.
When I was sorting thru my bins of projects I found this “ugly” kennel quilt and decided to just finish it and be done with it, I’ll keep it for now on top of my quilt pile, until I get around to going to a shelter and donating it or I make more.
I was in more of a sorting mood and decided to take the threads off of my thread holders and sort them chromatically (don’t know if that’s the technical term or not)
But here’s my initals all nice and sorted again
I’m still working on a new blog, so wait and see.
Oh and I’d like some tips for photo storage! My google account is at 98-99% full, I know it’s because I’ve had my phone to back up everything, but I won’t do that anymore, I always download and delete off of my phone onto my computer, but then again it’s nice to go into google photos and look at the pictures if I’m out and need to show friends.
I need a one of those letter thread holders for my sewing room! I love your RSC quilt — I did the RSC a couple years ago and then when I started doing the IBA thing it kind of fell by the wayside. I should really try to pick it up again for 2020.
I love your RSC quilt! Pineapple is a great scrappy block.
thanks it was fun to make
Great way to use the letters. I pay for Google photo storage each month. Everyone in the family uses my storage, and we have tons leftover. Only $1.99/month. Well worth the price, and I don’t have to delete any photos.
