Did you see this new book by Quilter’s World/ Annie’s called “Quilts you can make in a day”
I got an E-book from Annie’s and took a few days to figure out which project I wanted to make first!
This pouch and runner are both neat, the runner used charms!
This runner is from jelly roll strips!
In the end I picked this cute butterfly wall hanging and I decided to use charms I had from connecting threads, that I had laying around and for fun I switched the light and darks!
I quickly cut out the pieces
And here’s my butterfly block!
It probably took me about an hour or so to make!
I’m not quilting it yet, as I’m deciding if I want to just make a wall hanging or a pillow or more blocks??
I’ll need time to think about it…
I’m itching to try another pattern in the book too, so…..
Hope you like the book too, it’s a great scrap buster!!
(I’m an affiliate for Annie’s so if you buy the book thru my link, I’ll get a small commission)
Annie’s giving away an E-book too! Comment below which project you think you might make from this book
I love projects like this. What a great book! I would most likely make the beautiful table runner that you featured, as it would be quick to pull from my jellyrolls I've collected! Thanks for sharing the giveaway.
This looks like a great book. I would probably make the runner first as I have quite a few charm squares.
The quilt on the front looks like a great charity quilt so that would probably be my first one.
I like the table runner but I keep looking at the Chains quilt on the front cover as I need to make a graduatioon quilt
I would do either the blue table runner or the quilt next to the circle of geese.
I would love to make that jelly roll runner. I have a roll in just those colors. So beautiful.
I really liked the quilt on the cover and the baked in log cabin quilt. Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net
The Charming Chains quilt is my first choice for sure. — soparkaveataoldotcom
The quilt on the cover looks great! Love the bold colors, looks like a fun choice to make for an upcoming wedding!
I like the spinning geese hot pad but all the table runners look like fun. I like your version of the butterfly.
