I have a quilt in Generation Q magazine!
Green Diamonds.
On page 62.
I quilted a grid work all over it.
and since the front was all scrappy I did the back too!
And yes, in case you’re wondering, as with most magazines, the quilt got sent off MONTHS ago.
( I even had to find my external hard drive to dig up the pics! ha ha, I back them up every few months)
The quilt was based on a sketch Gen Q posted and I submitted block ideas and also quilt ideas and they were happy to publish it!
If you have the magazine and want to make the quilt, instead of copying the pages with the templates, I created a PDF for them here.
If you make the quilt one day I’d love to see it! it’s really simple
I also have 2 (maybe 3) magazines to give away to my followers.
(US only unless you want to pay for postage to your country?)
Leave a comment below if you subscribe to Gen Q magazine and if you’d make this quilt one day in which color combinations?
(like mine white, grey, light green and dark green)
all ONE comment only please!
I’ll pick a winner Friday April 25th in the morning.
First of all, congratulations! How exciting to have your quilt chosen. I haven't heard of this magazine, so I will be looking for it if I don't win. Thanks for the giveaway! I think I'd pick a teal, purple combo.
Wow it must be so exciting to see your quilt in a magazine!! I think I might try this pattern in browns and greens.
I have heard of this magazine but never seen one-congrats on getting a quilt in it! I would pick black/white/aqua colorations.
i don't get this magazine, but I have seen it in stores. Congratulations for getting your quilt published. I would try this quilt in gray, aqua and yellow.
I've never seen this magazine in the UK – happy to pay postage if I'm the winner!

YIPPIE!Your quilt looks AWESOME!!!I do not subscribe …. yet….Only because I am making my self complete a mountain of ufo's…trying to limit myself to new ideas and projects. 🙂 Key word try. When I make this quilt the colors I will use in the first quilt will be bright yellow, tangerine and pink!
Congrats! Would love to try out the magazine!
I love your combine! I actually think ut is rather masculine! Which is great! It reminds me of limes!
Congratulations Bea! You are in another great magazine, I've seen one copy of this and it looks great. Cute quilt!
I love Gen Q magazine, but don't have a subscription yet. I'd love to make the diamonds quilt in patriotic colors for a Quolt of Valor or in purples for my daughter. Thanks for the giveaway!
