It’s block #30
small windmill blocks next to squares makes a fun block!
You’ll need 2 fabrics plus white and 2 dies
dies #1 and #5
Cut out 2 of #1 in a fun print
then 8 EACH of a second fabric and white
Sew all the HST #5 triangles together, as you can see I used a directional fabric, so on the die I turned two of my fabric squares first before cutting
Iron toward the darker fabric
When sewing the windmill blocks together, iron the seam open!
otherwise it creates a lot of bulk on the final seam in the center
Then add the large squares
and sew the block together!
