Block #26 is easy! it’s a windmill block
You’ll only need 2 dies, #3 and #4 and just two fabrics
Cut 4 each of #4 in the two colors (here it’s fine to use a directional fabric!)
then cut 4 of #3 in the background fabric, if you are using a directional fabric, cut two squares to fit the die then turn one fabric 90 degrees before cutting
Sew the sets of #4 triangles together
Then add the large #3 triangles, if you are using a directional fabric you may want to lay out the fabrics first before sewing together
then sew the quadrants together
and into a block!
Now you’re in for a treat! lots of eye candy as more people have joined the QAL, here’s Kaye’s blocks (2 different sizes!)
and Hannah decided to get a companion set, so she caught up too on some missing blocks
and I love Shayne’s block here
and Renie’s block is great in batiks too
it’s SEW much fun to see the different version!!
I ALMOST want to make a 3rd set now, but I better hold off.
