Block #12 is here!!
we’re done with 2 rows and 1/4 done with the blocks!
This blocks has flying geese too and is more traditional vs the block last week.
For this block you’ll need 3 colors including the background color (white)
From color A and White cut out (4) of shape #4
Lay both down and cut at one time
Then with fabric B cut out (16) of shape #5
Sew 4 sets of 2 geese together with the white geese at the bottom
Then sew the 4 blocks together so the white geese are spinning on the middle!
Here’s my 12” batik version.
A totally different look I think
Here’s the 12 blocks together (should be 6 in each row, but 4 x 3 just looked better for the picture)
Such a fun layout!
Here’s what participants on FB did last week with block #11 (surprisingly they liked it!- I thought it was kind of odd)
Renie’s #11
Patty’s #11
and Shayne’s #11
and we have a new person Hannah who joined and quickly caught up!
what great blocks.
They all look great!
