Qube Angles circle quilt is done

I finally got around to quilting this QUBE angles circle quilt

I wrote about it here, how I used 5” strip sets from Island Batik and created these blocks

So in between my two trips to Denmark, I long arm quilted this one and added the binding

(Excuse me Anja, I need to take a picture of the quilt!)

I quilted all over leaves and swirls, it was super quick!

I also machine stitched down the binding, I took my good Janome in for a “SPA” treatment so I’m using my backup Janome now and found this fancy stitch on it, so I figured I’d try it out Smile

Since I finished the top last year, I made the label then too with 2017 on it, oh well….

This quilt will go on the shelf for maybe a donation when there’s a need.

Looking forward to my next batik box from Island batik! – might come while I’m in Denmark??

  1. This is gorgeous! What dies did you use? I have a sizzix that I am just starting out with but very pleased so far – so love finding out what others are doing and using.
