When I find something I like making, I tend to make a LOT!!
I made more purse pin cushions.
This one is from the women of the bible quilt scraps- fabrics from CT
And a pink floral/bright one
purple/green and black and white
(I LOVE the b/w one!)
I also made a snowman one with leftovers from the tree skirt and the shirt I made recently.
Hmm, maybe I’m starting a trend that I’ll make one each time I finish a quilt.
It sure doesn’t put much of a dent in the scraps though, the pieces are teeny tiny.
There’s 9 fabrics on each side of the purse btw, so some times I make it a pattern, then the two sides, top and flap of course and I really like the fabric handle now, each 2” x 8” fabric ironed toward the middle and in half again, like double fold bias tape/ binding I guess.

I was looking to make another one and found this owl fabric and just HAD to make a purse with that fabric and found some dotted fabrics to match, then I also made a basket to match
And I made another scissor pouch too!
totally different than the blue and green one!
I need to find scissors that fit!
Those are so cute! I know exactly what you mean btw! I learned how to make little coin purses during a blog hop and I make like 12 of them… no idea what the heck I was going to d with them lol. Then it was clutches and I made 5 of them and then order 20 more zippers from Etsy! lol I have yet to ever make a pin cushion, though! I better be careful about trying hehe
