Hi everyone,
it’s my day to share a pumpkin project!
Thanks to Carla for hosting this blog hop!!
I wasn’t sure what I was going to make, but I knew I wanted to use the pumpkin from the Accuquilt Fall Medley die!
Then I looked at my “to be quilted” list and realized I had made a small runner/ table topper from leftover 12 1/2” strips from the log cabin quilt I recently made and where I added off white between, that top would be perfect!
I took it out and busted out some more orange batiks from Island batik! and cut out 2 pumpkins!
I raw edge appliqued it in brown, easy peasy!
Then I laid it on the batting and cut out another orange piece and right sides together I stitched around the edge and left an opening, then turned it right side out and top stitched AND I used some of my fancy stitching on my Janome and quilted it.
Super simple and easy!
I’ve made other pumpkin projects in the past!
Here’s a set of potholders where I used the same pumpkin die!
a pumpkin table topper in batiks (same die)
a bib with the pumpkin on it
So you can tell I like that pumpkin die

Great table topper! Perfect for the Fall season. All of your projects are wonderful, but that little pumpkin bib is darling!
Really like what you've done with that die. I always look at their dies and try and figure out what all I could do with them where all of the items I try look different. You did that and more.
