Retro Betty housewife modern wall hanging quilt

Quilt measures 45″ x 45″

This quilt was part of a monthly blog challenge and I chose the fabrics to be sort of retro, at least retro colors. The blocks are all foundation pieced, so quite tricky!

The blocks are all about Betty who’s the perfect house wife and mother and have cookies and tea ready for the kids when they get home.

I chose to add diamonds on the border and the binding is sewn by hand onto the back. Hanging sleeve is attached.

It’s a great wall hanging!

Batting is warm and natural.

Backing is a bit scrappy from leftover fabrics
