I finally finished Prayer Garden!! yay….
I did a SITD on the white parts of the blocks, as the border sections were very thick and stiff.
And did a scrappy binding
The backing I used a floral fabric that I don’t really “love” also made a hanging sleeve which I sewed to the top while adding the binding
I also add my label while attaching the binding now so I only hand sew the 2 sides down!
I used one of the flower blocks and ignored the added fabric strips but instead did the text close to the flower.
I’m working on the Quilt for McCall’s look at all the pretty dog ears 
Sonja is keeping busy! she’s “trying” to sew
And coloring with wonder pens
Today is my birthday!!
I’m close to having been living half my life in the US vs Denmark now, kind of strange… I moved to the US when I was 18 1/2 to go to college for 2yrs and then met a guy and well, you can guess the rest…
So technically my NEXT birthday, I’ve been here more than half my life – did you figure out my age??? LOL
Our friend From Singapore is back and brought presents and candy
Look at these nice Batiks (like the blue one I got last year)
And then HUBBA HUBBA, look at that BAG!!!
(of course I asked my HUSBAND when he did the modeling for the bag!?- aren’t I the good wife?? LOL )

Happy Birthday!I think the Prayer Garden quilt is lovely, especially with the coloring you did. Sonja's is just the cutest. I was able to tell my husband that he has been a part of my life the same amount of time I was single. You will be able to say that some day, too. (Or can you already?)
