I finished the kitty block and turned it into a pincushion stuffed with crushed walnut shells.
I used the Sea salt sandy collection from Island Batik
and the kitty FPP pattern from quiltart
Here I added some blue pins for the eyes
My 11yr old daughter picked out fabrics for a large version so I could make a pillow for her.
Janine from quiltart sent me the block in a 10” version to make this
I added a zipper to the back
Here’s the two “pillows” together. Aren’t they fun??
Do you LOVE or “hate” FPP??
Simply adorable!
I love to paper piece so I know how much work it is to create that adorable little kitty…sweet!
Hate paper-piecing, love YOUR cats!
Those are just too cute. Love the little button eyes on the pin cushion too!
Cute!
Simply adorable!
these are so cute. I love to PP. Right now I am making place mats with a star war PP in each one. these are a little more difficult, especially the light sabers. LOL. challenging.quilting dash lady at comcast dot net
I love it and these are totally adorable!
what a great pin cushion and larger cushion this cat has adorned. I must learn how to FPP as I am missing out on some great patterns
Adorable! And the Sea Salt Sandies were a great fabric choice!
