Planes Trains and Automobiles Blog Hop

PTA-Blog-Hop-Button-Small

It’s LEAP day and I get to post my version of this theme!

I knew I wanted to do a boy quilt and I looked in EQ and found a plane block and merged it with a diamond block to have it straight.

And I worked it out where the yardage needed is all 1/2yd or under!

It measures 35” x 35”

planes lets fly

Here it is!!

The fabric collection I used is called Jersey Shore

and can be found here

and can be found at your local quilt store around April/May!!

I won a crib sized bag of high loft batting for warm and Co and thought this would be perfect for it.

I quilted curves on the LeMoyne blocks and loved the puffy-ness of it.

Used the GO die for this block BTW!

and I outlined the plane with straight lines too to make it stand out

On the back I used an orange polka dotted fabric

and added a label in the corner
