I finished the last of the persian star blocks for the block swap!
woohoo 12 total. Due at the end of the month here, heard someone else already sent her blocks, so I felt I had to rush on these last 3 also
Here’s the 6 sets of 2
What the layout would be.
I also finished this week’s WOB BOW
the woman with two coins at the temple.
Can you imagine giving your last two pennies? Thank goodness I’ve never been in that situation, I can’t imagine….. We are so spoiled in the western world, we don’t know what “poor” really is, we can all say that we are poor and living paycheck to paycheck and times are tough, but they are really NOT compared to other countries.
In other countries they have to beg for food or live in a cardboard box and some places you get killed if you’re a Christian.
I’m not saying it can’t/ won’t happen here in the US….
Just saying that most of us are very spoiled in the western world.
(Okay off my high horse here)
This block is not my favorite, I don’t know if it’s the color choices, I think the clothing fabric was the wrong choice, oh well. it’s funky
Of course my little helper has been SEW much help lately.
After I put all the scraps of fabric back in the bins she likes to help pull them back out and wear some of the long strips
Then she likes to sit in my lap while sewing and open the front of the machine to look at the funny feet
and testing them out by bonking them on the table!
What would I do without such a tester??
She has time for fun too, like snuggling with the big yellow bear again.
I took these pics yesterday of my long arm machine for Carol, she has the summit and voyager too and I was showing how the bars are on my frame. the bars are adjustable, this is just the way I like mine to be

I just bought a new embroidery machine and was thinking the other day that it cost more than many make in a year in some countries. We take so much for granted in this country. The price of a yard of quilt shop fabric is more than some make in a week. It is best to count your blessings and share when/where we can.
The Persian Stars are beautiful and, yes, we are blessed in this country. Your little helper is too cute!
